Arriving Summer - 2012

Grandma and Grandpa M brought us some raspberry plants when they visited. These are cut from the raspberry bushes at their house, which were cut from Grandpa M's dad's farm years and years ago.

This year we won't expect any berries and next year we'll probably only get a handful. In a couple summers they should really take off. It's a little wild for me to think about us no longer having temporary housing situations. It's weird to be making plans, even plans for raspberries, for years down the road.
We had a relaxing weekend with Grandma and Grandpa B this weekend. It was cold and rainy, but we found a window of clear weather and walked to the local greenhouse. It had so many beautiful plants - I'm excited to go back and get a few things when the weather is just a little warmer.

Now we don't expect to have visitors or do any traveling until the baby arrives at the very end of May or beginning of June. M2 has trouble with that idea - he asks every day when we will visit Minnesota or when the grandparents will return. (Today would work the best for him.) He also wants to ride in a cable car with Uncle Dave and Aunt Nissa's dog, Hank. We watch YouTube videos of Hank several times a week and M2 has a little cable car that Papa brought back from a work trip to CA.
