Grandma and Grandpa M visited over the weekend so that they could buy the kids their Christmas gift sandbox. We had beautiful weather on Saturday and Sunday and spent so much time outside. The kids had a lot of fun with the new sandbox and also just playing outside as much as possible. M.G. got out her bike and rode around and around the cul-de-sac. Grandma and Grandpa helped us with some yard work and gave us lots of helpful tips to take care of the plants in our yard.

M2's turtle meets a big turtle.

We placed the sandbox under the apple tree on one of the patches of dirt we have.

Papa, Grandma, and Grandpa worked on transplanting a few plants and cutting back others. It inspired the kids to plant in their sandbox with clippings.

The apple tree is getting many more leaves every day. We're looking forward to see it in bloom soon.
It has been fun to see what our yard is doing this spring. In the fall, when we purchased the house, the flowers and plants were done for the season. We've already started making changes here and there, but it's exciting to see some flowers already coming up and our bushes coming back to life after the winter.
