And another week slides by...
The weeks are flying by. My parents came to visit this weekend and helped us with some yard work. It's been raining quite a lot. M.G. had another great week of school last week. I really enjoy hearing all of her stories at the end of the day.
She was supposed to wear red and black to school on Friday because it was homecoming week. Earlier in the week, some high school cheerleaders came to the elementary school to teach the kids some cheers. She was really excited about that and started spending a lot of time talking about being a Bobcat.
Friday, after school, she was very excited to tell me about the football game that night. "Everyone would be there.... could she go.... it's the homecoming game... she knows cheers." We decided to check the time and check with Papa.
Grandma and Grandpa B were going to arrive around the start of the game. So we deliberated a bit. She threw in helpful things like, "But I'm a Bobcat now!"
She was so excited that we couldn't say no. Papa took her to the game for a while and it sounds like it was an exciting and overwhelming experience. She liked seeing the marching band and cheerleaders, but didn't have much else to say about it.
