M3: 9 Months!

M3 is now 9 months old!  She is still aggressive, but throws in enough kisses and snuggles.  She seems to be constantly waiving her middle finger around.  She can now get into the sitting position and can pull herself up to standing in her crib!  She is just starting to crawl on her hands and knees and is also just starting to try putting weight on her legs in the standing position (outside of her crib.)  Other than between midnight and morning she is a very content baby and is happy to sit and play with toys or watch "play with" her brother and sister.
She's doing well with finger food and has tried a variety of new things (broccoli, pear, egg yolk, wheat, cheerios).  She gets really excited to try feeding herself if I give her a few sticks of cooked carrot for utensils and a plate of pureed foods.  It's a mess though, so we don't do that very often.

She's still our musical girl.  She starts dancing at the drop of a hat, regardless if it is a CD, a musical toy, or one of us singing.  She likes to bang things and sing along too.  She's making a larger variety of sounds and so the kids think she is already talking and she finds it really funny to make raspberry sounds.

Her fine motor skills are coming along - she's good at grabbing tiny things and then putting them in her mouth!  (She seems to put everything in her mouth.)  But, she also spent a long time playing with the Uno cards on Sunday.
The older kids are happy that she is starting to interact even more, but they get a little frustrated with her when she can quickly get into whatever they are doing.  But, they do cut her lots of slack.
