The kids helped frost sugar cookies yesterday after M.G. came home from school.  They have a lot of fun with it and we make a small batch so that they don't get bored with the decorating.

M2 helped me cut out and bake the cookies earlier in the day.  He's really good at being delicate with the dough.

M.G. had been having fun in school lately and is so much more conversational than before first grade.  It's nice to have her spontaneously talk about random things.

M2 has been a big helper a lot lately.  He likes to sort laundry, dry the dishes, help with any cooking or baking he can.  He'll even help pick up toys, which is a skill we never thought he'd pick up.  He still cracks me up a lot.  He was dancing to "Every day I'm shufflin'" a few nights ago and had to be sure we noticed he was pretending to shuffle cards while dancing.

Today M3 spent quite a while playing with these two little dinos.  She was walking them around and growling a lot.  She's understanding so much of what we say lately and loves to try to jump in - tonight at supper she wanted more and more "ooles" (noodles).
