Easter 2012 in photos

We were happy to have a 4 day weekend to travel to MN for Easter this year.  The kids enjoyed the car trip on Thursday.  I love this photo - there was no distracting M.G. from her books and M2 was giggling and laughing at his joke of making "super big" bunny loops for his shoes.

The kids were very excited by all of the Easter treats!  Here M3 was sampling some chocolate from the basket from Grandma and Grandpa B.

Friday we spent the day with Grandma and Grandpa M.  We dyed eggs and decorated them as dinosaurs and had some bubble time.

Saturday we attended an egg hunt at the playground near Grandma and Grandpa B's.  The weather was a little rainy, but I think that held off the crowd a bit.  We didn't think to bring baskets, but the kids used their hats!  M.G. found one of the special shiny eggs and won a big chocolate bunny!

There were some other games and face painting at the park too.

The kids were very excited for the Easter Bunny!  We never get very good Easter morning photos, but this year the bunny did a good job with everyone.  Here M3 is shouting "Squinkies!"  She has so much fun with those tiny little creatures.

We went to church with Grandma and Grandpa M that morning before heading off to family meals and egg hunts with both sides of the family.

Sunday night we met up with Chris, Jenny, her nephew Tyler, and Tyler's mom Julie.  Another highlight of the weekend was getting to pretend to ride Chris's scooter!  The kids also ran around and around the yard, burning off some of their candy I think.

Ha! See you have to come back now. M3 would be in Squinkie heaven here now that she knows what they are. I love the picture of her in her Easter dress, smiling at the camera. She looks so much like M2.
