Last weekend in October

We've had a busy, fun week here.  Grandma and Grandpa B arrived Thursday night and visited until after M4's baptism on Sunday.  Chris and Jenny drove over just for that day.  Grandma and Grandpa M also came on Sunday and stayed until this morning.

Saturday was homecoming for the university in town and we were all looking forward to the homecoming parade.  I think it is the biggest parade of the year for our town, with at least 4 bands and lots of floats.  This year the university gave student groups money for floats, so it was even more exciting than in the past.  It was a chilly morning, but the kids were still excited to be there!

Papa's department built a model of the Saturn V for their float.  The kids got to check it out on Friday night before the parade and we all cheered when we saw it on Saturday morning.
