M3: 10 months!

Holding on to the couch! (And losing his pants...)
M4 is now 10 months old.  He is such a sweet guy.  It is clear he wants to run and talk like the big kids!  In just the last couple weeks he has starting trying to play with them - handing over a toy or being able to understand some of the things they want him to do.  He and M3 have had some wild peak-a-boo games this month.  He's been working on cruising.  He also has been trying to stand on his own, but doesn't quite have the balance yet.
He likes to listen to books and play with things he can chew on.  He spends a lot of time crawling around to see what everyone else is doing. As I type he's pulling up to stand by the bookshelf, pulling off one coloring book, sitting down to look at it, throwing it to the side, and repeating.

We have pretty much gotten to the point where we give him little bits of whatever we are eating, instead of paying attention to introducing foods one at a time.  This week he tried some plum that he really liked.  Now that he's actually trying to get the food into his mouth I should pay closer attention to getting him a good variety of foods.  He has his two bottom teeth and one top tooth at this point.

He still holds on like a little baby monkey and likes to snuggle.  (That was my birthday, not his...)  We're starting a new phase around here.  I'll be working 15 to 20 hours a week at the university, teaching two classes.  He and M3 will be going to daycare for 5 or 6 hours, 3 days a week.  I'm not worried about M3, I know she'll have fun, but I am hoping M4 adjusts well.
